About Sofia
For a long time, I struggled with basic math. Eventually, I learned that practice makes perfect, and having a teacher to guide you really helps. Over time, math has become my favorite subject. It is also the subject where I get the best grades. I understand where students might be struggling because I dealt with it myself.

With students I aim to find thee root of why they aren't understanding the material. There was a time I hated and struggled with math, so I understand it isn't for everyone. I know how to break it down a simpler way to make sure students can understand. Practice makes perfect!I can work with students for however long they need, whether it is one day for 2 hours or multiple sessions. I am able to help with all levels of algebra up to beginner calculus. I also prefer to meet at a coffee shop!
