About Jodie
My name is Jodie. I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in a subject that many find content-heavy and challenging, particularly the theory elements of PE.
I’m approachable, organised and calm, but I also believe in high standards and purposeful challenge. I enjoy finding creative and quirky ways to make learning stick, and I take real pride in seeing pupils progress from uncertainty to confidence — especially in exam situations.
Outside of teaching, my love of sport and education continues to shape how I teach: structured, energetic and always focused on helping pupils achieve the best possible outcome.

I am a qualified GCSE PE teacher with 10 years’ classroom experience and a strong track record of excellent exam results. My lessons are focused, engaging and challenging, designed to push pupils beyond surface learning and into confident exam performance.
I’m known for using quirky, memorable techniques to help pupils retain key definitions, command words and complex concepts — ideal for topics like anatomy, physiology and long-answer questions. I don’t just help students learn content; I teach them how to apply it under exam conditions.
I set high expectations and confidently challenge pupils to reach their potential, while adapting lessons to suit individual strengths and gaps. Whether a student needs to boost confidence, secure top-end grades, or sharpen exam technique, my lessons are structured, supportive and results-driven.
