About Charlotte
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Secondary English education with a teaching license and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing where I graduated top of my class. I have been and am currently a professional English educator for 10 years in North Carolina and I've taught everything from high school freshman English to AP Literature and everything in between. I've prepared and taught students about how to be successful on the ACT and on state exams. I also run tutoring sessions with my students for college and scholarship essays, and any essay in between. I am enthusiastic and passionate about students and am ready to help.

Charlotte is the best teacher and mentor I have ever had. She was one of my teachers in high school and she not only taught me the English curriculum, but she taught me how to value myself and my creativity. There were times where I felt like no one supported me or wanted me to be happy. Charlotte always was the voice lifting me up, helping to give me the confidence I needed to continue my love of English and writing. Her teaching isn't simply a recitation of textbook material. She truly cares about her material and wants her students to want to learn. Every lesson she ever gave me was not only educational, but it was enjoyable. In my sophomore year creative writing class, instead of writing boring poetry we had to write rap songs and then battle our class mates. We learned how to effectively write poetry, but there was no pain, just laughter after silly raps. I can not recommend Charlotte enough, she won't only tutor or teach you, she will do her absolute best to make an impact on your life.
