As a pianist who endured many lessons with perfectionist and hardcore music teachers, my piano lessons focus on cultivating first a love and joy for music along with basic music theory and staff reading skills. I have been teaching students for the past three years and worked exclusively thus far with elementary-age kids beginning their musical journey. Lesson length and material are tailored specifically to the age range, focus stamina, and learning speed of individual students in an effort to help them learn best.
