About Ellie
I am a current swim teacher so I have worked with many different kinds of kids. I also have been babysitting and tutoring since I was in 6th grade. I am very patient and I will always answer questions during the session, or through text (if I am not in a session or busy). Making sure a student understands the material before moving forward is very important. I want to see the students succeed and move forward. I speak 3 languages. (Russian, English, and tiny amount of ASL). Fun fact about me is that I used to do theater and I used to compete in chess so after a lesson I would love to play chess or chat.

Russian
In lessons, I will start the first 10% of the session reviewing what was practiced the day before and checking in with grade math (if the student is comfortable). The next 40% will be either understanding the homework, or learning new material. Whatever the student needs. The next 40% will be working on work or practicing. The last 10% would be a parent check-in or if not needed, then keep working on work. (First lesson is free but my price is negotiable.)
