About Shawn
I am a student looking to help other students who may be struggling. I can recall a time when I struggled in academics so I can relate to the struggle. I yearn to make sure no one else has to deal with that struggle either. I plan to make school as easy to understand as possible. I have good experience with learning mathematics as well as teaching it to others. I prioritize mathematics but I have excelled in science history and English (the classes I took were, Biology, Chemistry, U.S History, World History, English 1, and AP English all of which were Honors classes)

I will use many teaching methods that best suit students in need, whether interactive learning, quizzes, or step-by-step problem-solving. What typically works for most of my students is an in-depth explanation with a realistic example of when that particular problem may be used in a real-world setting. I am persistent in making sure my student gets all their questions answered and understood. My lessons are primarily meant for K-8th graders but I have taught a few high school students (high school students may vary depending on what course they may be taking.)
