About Emma
I’m a current student at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, training in their globally recognised musical theatre programme. Initially from Australia, I moved here in September after also having offers from schools such as New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, London School of Musical Theatre, and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I graduated from McDonald College of Performing Arts in Sydney as school captain and with the Musical Theatre Award for Excellence, playing roles including Ms Honey in Matilda and Maggie in A Chorus Line. I’ve been privileged to train under professionals across Sydney, London and New York, and look forward to passing on this knowledge to my students.

Having trained in musical theatre for the past seven years, and moving from Australia to London to pursue it, I value and appreciate the importance of having a teacher who can support students’ individual needs whilst encouraging growth and giving praise. I also focus on the importance of work ethic and mindset with my students, ensuring a healthy and sustainable approach to work that can at times be vulnerable and confronting.
Whether it’s drama school audition preparation or singing/acting lessons for absolute beginners, I support students entirely and cater to all levels of experience. Training in the arts can often come with a level of competition or toxicity that I aim to break down and diminish with students, focusing on celebrating their individuality and accomplishments- building strong, confident and resilient artists.
