About Erin Joy

I assure students and parents that conversations and interactions will be strictly about math and understanding concepts. I have gained student and peer interactions through leadership clubs and programs at my school and am confident in my social, positive, and academic interactions that would be kept professional.

About the lesson

As a student myself, I understand other students struggling and would love to help other peers work through challenging problems. It’s important for me to learn how you understand, and will make it a priority for me to do so! A typical lesson would start out with me asking what specific problems you are struggling with. I would then walk you through step by step. I will do this by writing on paper, and will explain each step of what I did. Clarification is important, so after each step I will write out why I did it. My lessons are for middle schoolers are high schoolers struggling with Algebra 1, Geometry, or Algebra 2!
