About Shane

Completed an undergrad in Maynooth University in biotechnology with a calculus minor. Worked continuously throughout my college years giving maths tutorials and grinds. Worked as a biomedical engineer for a year with a strong maths focus before entering a master's in education to teach maths. Current maths and biology teacher in Dublin.

About the lesson

Online: I use Teams for my lessons. I share my screen and we work through concepts, examples, and exam questions together. Students will be very active throughout class, and then you will be sent the class workings, as well as additional notes and questions. I’m also available over phone ((concealed information)) or email 7 days/week for any queries or questions a student may have regarding work I’ve given, or any issues that they come across in independent study.

Shane was an excellent math grind tutor for my 15 year old son (3rd year), he was very reliable with times, flexible with dates/ times, very knowledgable on the subject and adaptive in his teaching methods. He got on with my son very well, he found him approachable and easy to ask questions. Price was well within reason. Very happy with him overall, will be getting him again.

Would definitely recommend shane as a maths tutor - he really helped my son who was sitting his junior certificate last June, he explained everything very clearly and did multiple examples to ensure everything was understood properly. He is very reliable and always arrived on time.
