About Fatima
My name is Fatima and I recently completed my 2025 matric exams. In school, whether it be during lessons, or just before the test, I would always be the one my friends and peers would turn to for help in math, so I thought if I could help so many of my peers, I could help you too! I was also a peer tutor at school and have experience in tutoring, often sitting for hours with learners before the test until the work finally clicked. I am good with kids and can easily adapt my lessons according to their attention spans and level of understanding.

I follow a structured approach in lessons that alternates between teaching lessons, going through past papers and looking at common mistakes and issues your child had in previous tests. I find this method to be the most beneficial as most learners struggle more with the application of what they learnt, rather than with remembering the information itself. I am fluent in English but may be able to teach in Afrikaans as well. I am friendly and good with kids, making me a good fit for primary as well as high school learners. My lessons are aimed at learners who know their work, but just need that extra push to allow them to reach their full potential in maths.
