About Shubham
I am an enthusiastic, intelligent young man who is currently in their 2nd year of medical school. I have graduated school with a 97+ ATAR, achieving 3, 40+ subject scores. I have 200+ hours of tutoring experience, teaching students of all ages and skills. Through my experience, I have learned ways to deal with tough students, as well as those that need extra assistance, allowing for all my students to strive to their best. With my past and current tutoring methods, I believe I am very capable to teach future aspiring students to achieve the best scores that they can, all while enjoying the work that they do in class, as well as in school.

I have now been tutoring for 2 years, tutoring Math for Primary and Secondary students, English for Primary students. My specialty is tutoring General Math for year 11 and 12 students. Before I commence classes for any student, I start my first class with a diagnostic test, to see the strengths and weaknesses of the student. This also allows me to tailor their classes according to their weaknesses, where I provide PowerPoints of content, teaching them all the concepts required, and then providing practice questions to consolidate their learning before we go on to the next step. For English, I mainly focus on essay writing, providing tips and advice to enhance their writing skills, as well as looking at class texts and assessing the themes, ideas and authors' intentions. For my VCE students, I tailor my classes according to their SACs so that they can be fully prepared before they sit them. I provide a multitude of resources, from practice exams Qs to practice SACs, so they can feel as prepared as they can. Usually all my classes run for one hour each week, whereas my VCE students may require additional classes depending on how much help they would need.
