About Diego
I obtained a BS in cellular and molecular biology and a BA in psychology from California State University Dominguez Hills and am a current PhD student at UPEI under their molecular and macromolecular science program. I have 5 years of experience working in an analytical chemistry laboratory investigating and discovering natural products as well as 6 years of experience teaching high school AVID and science.

Having 5 years of research experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory and 6 years of teaching experience in high school and university settings, I believe strongly in guiding students to understand their topics rather than giving answers or solutions. Students retain information following the doing of it rather than the receiving of it.
