About Ashley
I have more than 10 years of tutoring and teaching experience. I have worked with students aged from kindergarten to those in graduate school. I have also worked with those with special needs who need additional support in understanding a subject. My bachelors is in Chemistry, my Masters is in Pharmaceutics, and I also have a teaching certificate. I am currently in a PhD program and excited to continue teaching. I absolutely love chemistry and all the math it deals with. My energy is infectious and will help you get through your homework and exams. If you are struggling in math and/or science I am the tutor for you.

About the lesson

I work with each student to find a way to make sometimes their toughest subject, their most enjoyable. If they don't consider themselves a science or math person, I relate the subject to what they enjoy the most. If they like history, we discuss the history of the subject before tackling problems. If they like art, I use more visual/ hands on examples when teaching instead. Depending on the student we can just work on assigned problems together, or I can provide additional work to help assist with their coursework. I have also helped students create study packets to prepare for upcoming exams. Anything related to Chemistry and Math I can help you with.
