About Emma
I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Cambridge, studying physical natural sciences. I have always enjoyed engaging younger years with maths and science, from running a science club to creating video-based revision resources. In lower years, I struggled with having the confidence to ask questions in large classes, and so I understand the importance of 1-1 time to provide students with a space to explore both their areas of concern and areas of interest. In my own exams I achieved ten grade 9 GCSEs and three A*s in maths, physics and chemistry at A-level.

I can help students to develop their understanding of a topic through a general discussion of the content, and going through examples together, including practice exam questions. Drawing from my own schooling experience, I understand the importance of providing students with the opportunity to ask questions in a low-pressure, judgement-free environment, so this is what I aim to provide in the 1-1 lessons.
