About Chloe
My name is Chloe and I am a Primary School Teacher. I am based in Durham and work in a mixed gender primary school in the local area. I am currently working as the school SENCO and I have just passed my National Professional Qualification in Middle Leadership. I have aspirations to become a Head Teacher.
Outside of school, I am one of the Head Coaches at a local gymnastics club. During my childhood/ teenage years, I represented Team GB for gymnastics. During this period, I was British Champion for three consecutive years, gained a bronze medal at European Championships and placed in 4th position at World Championships. Currently, I coach children aged 3-17 and these children range in ability level. I currently coach an elite level Cheerleading team of 12-16 year old who have just qualified to take part in the World Club Championships in Disneyworld Florida.
I have been teaching for 4 years and specialise in Key Stage 1. However, I have experience of teaching in all year groups across the Primary School Phase. I currently work as the school SENCO and coordinate the education and interventions in school for children with Special Educational Needs. I have previously worked with Year 6 and Year 2 children to help study in the run up to their SATS. I have a large amount of experience in teaching early reading, especially Phonics.

I am a friendly and happy person and like to get the best from all my students. Every child is different and their needs will be catered for on an individual level. In the current climate, I can help to tutor children at home who are not currently accessing school. I can also help to complete work set by your own school.
