About Travis
I enjoy the feeling of seeing someone progress in their learning and eventually grasp a secondary understanding of the material. One of my favorite parts of tutoring is being able to relate it to real-world experiences. This adds another level of learning because it proves that the information being learned is important and you will use it in your life.

I have experience in a tutoring setting, as well as a practical one. I was previously a chemist working for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Currently I am working as a research chemist for one of the largest companies in the semiconductor industry. I have received my bachelor's degree, majoring in both chemistry and neuroscience. Between the differing courseload between each program, combined with I am perfectly equipped to tutor in nearly all the scientific fields. I began tutoring in 2015 in organic chemistry for college, but since then have branched out to life sciences as well as physical sciences, and have tutored from middle school up through college. I am flexible with dates and times and look forward to guiding a student to achieve their best work.
