About Chris
I'm a PhD graduate in Bioengineering from the University of Kansas, passionate about inspiring students in math, science, and engineering.
I specialize in tutoring Algebra 2, College Algebra, Calculus (1, 2, 3), Differential Equations, Physics, and Biomedical Engineering. My doctoral education expanded my expertise in these subjects, equipping me with a comprehensive understanding of higher-level math, science, and engineering.
As a teacher's assistant, I've supported students in engineering computer programming (MATLAB) and electrical engineering in undergraduate school at Bucknell University. As a tutor, I tutored an 8th grader in Algebra 2 for a year and served as a Math and German tutor for 3 years in high school. Through these experiences, I’ve learned to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt my teaching style to different learning preferences.
