About Kristi
I love math. I love teaching math and I love learning math. I wasn't always someone who loved math though. My first year in college I had to take remedial math and honestly felt like I would never get it, but I got the right teacher who encouraged me to have confidence and trust my own mathematical thinking and when I did, math became one of my favorite subjects.
I taught fourth and fifth grade math in Texas and currently teach second grade math in Texas.
I strive to make learning fun and relatable for all of my students.
We are all mathematicians it just takes some practice and confidence.
