About Alec
I’m a senior at Georgetown University, studying finance and entrepreneurship. Over the past few years, I’ve gained valuable experience through internships in the financial services and real estate industries, which have helped me develop a solid understanding of both sectors. I’m originally from a suburb just north of Chicago, and I’m a die-hard Cubs fan (sorry, Sox fans!). In my free time, I love cooking up new recipes, staying active by working out and playing basketball, and getting competitive in games of Settlers of Catan with friends. I’m always looking for ways to challenge myself and grow, both personally and professionally!

Interactive Learning: I foster a dialogue-based approach, encouraging questions and tailoring responses to ensure that learning is dynamic and responsive.
Concept Breakdown: I simplify complex ideas by breaking them down into smaller, digestible pieces. This scaffolding technique helps build understanding step by step.
Examples and Applications: I rely on real-world examples and analogies to clarify abstract concepts, making the information more relatable and easier to grasp.
Active Recall and Spaced Repetition: I ask questions to reinforce concepts and promote memory retention through periodic review.
Adaptability: I adjust my explanations based on the student's learning style (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) to suit individual preferences.
Introduction (5-10 min):
Briefly review prior knowledge or discuss the goals of the lesson. Introduce the key concept or problem to be solved.
Explaining New Material (15-20 min):

Interactive Practice (15-20 min):
Engage in exercises or problem-solving tasks. Encourage the student to work through problems with my guidance.
Feedback and Clarification (5-10 min):
Address any areas of confusion, reviewing concepts where necessary.
