About Kobe
Though I am still a student myself, I have been tirelessly studying the guitar, and music in general, for over 6 years. I have a confident grasp of basic guitar technique and theory, as well as traditional music theory and reading. though primarily self taught through reading, listening, and playing for days on end, I have also played and studied in the HBHS Jazz Big Band during my time there as a student. I am currently studying under local guitar maestro David Murdy and receiving a music education at OCC in Costa Mesa. I'm very much looking forward to sharing my knowledge with younger musicians who want to be the very best they can be!

Hello! my name is Kobe Sorenson, and I am a music student at Orange Coast College. I am looking to provide affordable and insightful instruction to beginner and intermediate guitarists who are looking to get a solid technical and theoretical grasp of the instrument. I am extremely passionate about music as well as teaching and I'm ready to help students reach the fluency that allows them to confidently play and improvise solo or in a group setting.
