About Keira

I am a dedicated math tutor with six years of experience helping students build confidence and improve their math skills. Currently, I am studying at UNC Charlotte, where I continue to expand my knowledge and teaching strategies. I specialize in algebra, geometry, precalculus, and more, offering personalized lessons to fit each student’s learning style. My approach is patient, clear, and focused on making math more understandable and enjoyable. Whether you’re struggling with homework, preparing for exams, looking to get ahead, or just want someone looking over your shoulder... I’m here to help. I offer flexible scheduling, and I am available for both online and in-person sessions. Let’s succeed together!

About the lesson

ONLINE (Sessions will be held through google meet):
Interested in learning math from the comfort of your own home? Here's what I offer!

- Concept First, Calculation Second: I focus on helping you understand the “why” behind the math before diving into the “how.” Once the concept clicks, the calculations become intuitive.

- Visual & Interactive Learning: I use diagrams, digital whiteboards, and real-world analogies to make abstract ideas tangible. You won’t just memorize formulas—you’ll see how they work.

- Mistakes Are Welcome: Every error is a learning opportunity. I foster a judgment-free zone where questions are encouraged and confusion is treated with patience, not pressure.

- Customized Pathways: No cookie-cutter lessons here. I tailor each session to your goals, learning style, and pace. Whether you're a visual learner, a hands-on problem solver, or somewhere in between, we’ll find what works best for you.

IN PERSON:
Prefer face-to-face learning?

I offer in-person math lessons throughout the Charlotte area, designed to bring clarity, confidence, and a personal touch to your learning experience.

I’m happy to travel to you—as long as you're within a 20-minute drive of the UNC Charlotte campus. Whether you'd like to meet at your home, a local library, or a quiet coffee shop the choice is up to you.

To respect the other people in my house's privacy, I currently do not offer lessons from my own home. But wherever we meet, you can expect a supportive, engaging environment where your questions are always welcome and your progress is the priority.
