About Summer
I am a current second year UBC medical student who finished 3 years of the undergraduate Pharmacology program at McGill
University (GPA: 3.93) I have taken university level courses in calculus, statistics, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry and more! I have over 7 years in tutoring and teaching experience and am currently working part time with McGill Tutoring Services. I have also TAed for chemistry courses in the past.
I scored 130 and 132 on the Biology and Psychology Section of the MCAT.

I would like to use my recent MCAT test taking knowledge to help students succeed in the MCAT.
I believe in more than just teaching material and concepts to students. I want to help students develop their own study strategies and habits to help them succeed in the long run. Depending on the subject and topic, I will work with the student to develop approaches to combat different types of questions. Furthermore, I like to use my numerous years of teaching and personal experience to create unique tutoring sessions.

Summer is a friendly and knowledgeable teacher who helps her students learn in ways that they understand. Her aptitude for math and chemistry is demonstrated through her confidence in these subjects and how she individualizes her lessons to set her students up for success.
Summer is the best! I was recommended to her by a friend of mine and she literally is the only reason I did well in my math 200 class at Concordia this semester. I struggled with math all of high school (and failed it consistently), and finished with an A+ this semester thanks to her. Couldn’t recommend her more!
