About Anya
Hi! I'm Anya and I'm currently studying for an undergraduate degree in Psychology and have long term goals of teaching full time in order to become an Educational Psychologist.
Psychology sparked my interest ever since my very first lesson and has continued to intrigue and challenge me academically throughout college and now university. I have a particular interest in developmental/child psychology, such as, the way in which children learn to read and the, often overlooked, impact developmental disorders have on learning.
As a tutor, I hope to spark an excitement in you to learn to love academics, just like me. I hope you feel comfortable asking questions and I aim to support in any you way I can.

My approach to teaching may vary from student to student but always aims to be engaging, interesting and supportive so that each student is able to take full advantage of every lesson. Each lesson will be online/via Teams.
Focussing on Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, each student will have a personalised lesson plan which is adapted to suit their needs, whether that be a focus on exam technique, learning content or any other priority. Although I tend to focus on the AQA exam board, I may be able to support with others. Each lesson could be between 20 minutes and an hour.
As a student myself, I have years of experience with exam techniques and various courses, understanding that each student learns differently. I have been successful in both GCSE and A-Level examinations.
