About Jessica
Teaching maths is something I enjoy a lot. Many students struggle with maths as it can be seen as a set of rules with no clear reasoning as to why these rules need to be followed. My intention is not only to allow the student to understand the processes but also to explain with reason why these processes occur. I have high expectations of my students and believe that success in maths is down to positive attitudes and hard work.

I am able to introduce mathematical techniques and concepts to students by providing clear modelling of solutions and guiding students through problems until they are able to independently complete problems independently.
My lessons are an hour long.
I currently teach maths in a secondary school from years 7-11.
