About Emma
From teaching piano for the past 5 years and having to make the transition to zoom during the pandemic, I’ve learned so much about being adaptable and flexible with my teaching. I think it’s incredibly important to tailor my own teaching to individual learning styles and always prioritize this in each session.

As a student at a liberal arts institution, I’m well versed on many different subjects. I’m particularly interested in music and have been playing and teaching piano for 15 years and 5 years respectively. As a bilingual student, I am also very experienced with speaking, reading, and writing Chinese. I am very passionate about teaching and always make sure to personalize each session to fit the students needs. I personally understand that learning can be very difficult when not tailored to one’s specific learning style, so I work hard to learn from each of my students in order to help them learn better.
