About Joshua
With a stellar mathematics background consisting of studying under the Raffles Academy for Mathematics and receiving numerous Olympiad awards, I am a firm believer that confidence in one's mathematical abilities does not make one a good teacher. I strive to simplify obscure mathematical concepts and to make learning mathematics a fun and enjoyable process for all my students.

I place a heavy emphasis on efficiency, and students generally see a visible improvement in results within 3-6 months, thanks to the highly individualised attention in our 1-1 lessons, where I am able to focus directly on a student’s weak areas. As my students improve, I will expose them to more advanced questions until they eventually start outperforming their peers.
My lesson plans are specific for each student, so that each lesson fits the learning curve of that particular student. Lessons are also structured to effectively use the limited tuition time.
