My name is Dawud, I am in S6 and I am wanting to study optometry at university. I have always been willing to help people succeed in their academics as I believe that seeing how your hard work has paid off is the best type of satisfaction you can get. I also believe that students shouldn’t have to be alone when doing their courses and that they should have someone to ask questions and concerns about the course to.

As someone who has been through tutoring for many years for variety of subjects, I have had lots of experience with different teaching styles and from this, I have created my own version of teaching. I always give the students the lead on what they want to be taught, and from this I can provide students with materials for learning with students then ensuring proper consolidation. I have always been told by my peers that I should become a teacher and have been praised for my ability to easily explain course content. Since I have only just finished my Highers, I have a fresh understanding of the course and am able to easily remember what I have learned.
