About Dan
I served as a nuclear propulsion electrician in the United States Navy, and am familiar with both math and science. I care about students, and am patient and persistent. Math can be pretty intimidating, but there are ways to make it fun.

I take a common sense, practical approach to teaching math by connecting it to other disciplines. Learning math is similar to learning another language, and can be fun if done the right way. I have taught from 4th grade all the way to 12th grade, and have many resources at my disposal.
