About Lauren
I’m Lauren, and I used to be the person in the back of the classroom, with tears on my maths test, counting how many marks I would need to pass. I never understood how I could spend so many hours working away and get nowhere, until I started to view maths as something I already excelled at. I specialise in taking your interests (whatever they might be), and helping you to build connections between that, and the work you’re having a hard time with.

Maths did not come naturally to me, and the knock-on effect of consistently feeling behind across subjects (maths, sciences, business/economics) can be detrimental to a young person's confidence—trust me, I’ve been there!
I help students approach mathematics differently, by applying skills they already have (regardless of the area), so a topic which can seem daunting.
I first started tutoring in my local area when I was 14, helping younger students build upon their skills, and have continued to expand my teaching techniques throughout the past 7 years.
