About Anthony

I'm currently a junior at the University of Tampa looking to make an impact on kids' educational experiences. I wasn't always the school and memorizing type of student. Instead, I like to look at equations or questions with a logical approach.

About the lesson

I design my math lessons to help K-12 students build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and truly understand mathematical concepts instead of just memorizing formulas. My teaching approach focuses on patience, clear step-by-step explanations, and adapting each lesson to the student’s individual learning style. I use real-world examples, guided practice, and interactive exercises to make math more engaging, approachable, and easier to understand.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous material before introducing a new topic in a simple and structured way. I work through examples alongside the student, encourage questions throughout the lesson, and provide practice problems that reinforce understanding. I also focus on identifying areas where students may struggle so we can build a stronger foundation and improve confidence over time.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to explain difficult concepts in a patient and encouraging way while creating a comfortable learning environment. I believe every student can succeed in math with the right support and approach. My lessons are designed for K-12 students of all skill levels, whether they need homework help, test preparation, extra practice, or advanced instruction in subjects such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and general mathematics.
