About Katherina
I love Maths and I know for a fact most people find it very difficult to understand. I want to help kids see the beauty of Maths like how I see it. This personally helped me understand it, as well as my sister, who definitely struggles in this particular subject.

In terms of availability, I should be available for most days but depends on how my university timetable will look like and what times I will be home by. I have many books and textbooks available to give worksheets and notes from as I have retained them in hope that I will tutor in the future, so this includes not just high school textbooks but primary textbooks too. I am willing to teach primary school children English and if they are planning on sitting the O.C or Selective I can teach them General Ability, an area I was strong with. Additionally, I also went to a selective school (Girraween High School), so I have an idea of how to prepare for the selective exams. During the lessons, I will allocate time to help them with any questions that they have had difficulty with at school as well as any challenging questions I assigned them to do for homework. I will also ensure to give them theory notes as well as questions to do with that particular area in the syllabus. I will teach them according to whatever aspect of the syllabus they are currently working on at school and will give them homework ranging from easy to challenging as I have noticed that many children have focused on either the easy or the challenging questions, not allowing their brain to think any further than that. I will have mini exams frequently to test them on the amount they have learnt, with majority of them before their major exams, ensuring they will be well equipped for the exams and come out with flying colours.
