About Shakil
I am currently a university student in my final year. I have been tutoring for over 4 years, teaching a variety of age groups. I aim to build a good relationship with each of my students, getting a taste for how they best learn as I understand every student is learns differently.
I enjoy tutoring mainly due to the fact I enjoy helping people. It is a very rewarding job and my priority is always helping my students achieve the best grade they can and understand the content they are taught.

My lessons are very structured to help students ace exams. Each lesson will cover a topic, highlighting key methods then going through exam questions as this is the most important part - being able to apply the knowledge. I believe exam technique is as important as subject knowledge and aim to strengthen both in my students for them to achieve the best grade possible.
Each lesson is usually an hour, however I prefer to take a bit more time if the lesson is exam-focused. I used the techniques which helped me achieve A*s and A's at A-Level, which I have also used to help my prior students achieve top grades.
