About Bernadette
I am a high school student going into my senior year. I am a part of my school's student council. I am also the president of tutoring for my school’s national honor society. Being a part of these clubs has given me a drive to help people. These duties I’m responsible for performing in these clubs allow me to express my leadership traits and teach people, so everyone is able to learn something they are interested in and feel comfortable in that certain area.

My typical teaching technique is first getting to know the student. I want to make sure both of us are comfortable because that will allow both the student and I to connect and learn better. I also will teach you my studying habits that will actually help you remember material. A typical lesson plan would include figuring out the specific parts of a subject that are troubling the student and then guiding through the information, giving practice problems, and finishing off with studying techniques. These tutoring sessions are targeted toward grade school and high school students. As a high school student, I will be able to have something in common with the students, which is important to truly feel comfortable, focus, and learn.
