About Ameera
Although I am a high schooler, I play on quite a high/advanced level compared to a lot of musicians my age. My first year of high school I was the only freshman soloist for my school's marching show. In the same year, I made the all-state band while also getting ones at solo and ensemble and making it to state. I am currently the only sophomore drum major that my school has ever had. I have been playing the flute for about 6 years now and would love to teach someone how to be an amazing musician. I can also play and learn most songs by ear without looking at sheet music and without ever hearing it!

For beginners, I would start with the fundamentals for the flute and music while also showing them how to start making simple sounds and notes. Also using beginner-friendly books for learning and fun challenges! For more intermediate students, I would teach them something a little harder like TMEA region etudes depending on the age of the student. I would offer beginner lessons for $45 an hour and intermediate lessons for $60 an hour
