About Amanda
I am currently a Japanese primary school teacher to P-6 students across three different schools. I also teach a bit of the arts, history and maths and English.
In 2020, I graduated from a Bachelor of Primary Education and also completed a Diploma of Languages, majoring in Japanese in 2020. During my time at University, I completed four professional placements at different schools, teaching grade ones, Preps, grade threes, and a multi-age class consisting of students from grades three-six. As well as this, I am constantly working with students to encourage them to become the best version of themselves through my work as a Childcare Services Employee as an Outside School Hours Care service in Bulimba, Brisbane.

My teaching method is based around the methodology that all students should be included and learning should be enjoyable and as hands-on as possible. I base my classes on students needs, meaning that I will ensure I have a great understanding of where students are at with different subjects before planning any lessons. Each lesson will recap what was taught in the previous lesson and depending on where the student is at, the lesson will either develop the concept to ensure it is understood or move onto the next concept.
