About Lenah
A little about me is I am a rising senior at Westfield High School. I have taken numerous AP courses as well as DE courses. I have experience with teaching kids as I volunteer constantly at my church in the Sunday school classes as well as vacation Bible school during the summer. The ages have ranged from Pre-K to 3rd Grade. I am also a volleyball coach at NVVA which has strengthened my ability to work with kids and adapt to their learning preferences in order to improve their skills and confidence. This has also given me the opportunity to work with older ages like middle schoolers to high schoolers.

My goal as a tutor is to help students feel confident and reach their academic goals to deepen their understanding of their learning material. I am very adaptive to each student and their unique learning strategies and plan lessons accordingly to ensure that lessons are engaging, productive, and effective.
A typical lesson plan would be a step-by-step approach to break each topic down to ensure understanding. I will also provide practices to ensure that the student is learning consistently. I will also encourage students to ask questions to resolve any confusion and to also create an environment where mistakes can be used as learning opportunities.
Lessons are mainly designed for middle school to high school level math preferably Algebra 1 and 2 regular or honors. Lessons can also be designed for students preparing for quizzes, tests, homework, or review/deeper understanding of the material. Lessons are also flexible and tailored to the student's specific needs.
What sets me apart is my focus and determination to understand the needs of each student while also adapting to their learning style. I prioritize patience, communication, and building confidence.
