About Leyla
Hello! I’m Leyla and I am a current college student who is on the way to getting an associate's in Business Administration and then a bachelor's in Film. Throughout high school, I volunteered multiple times with kids and helped them with crafts and activities. English has always been my best subject, other than history, and I love to read at least a few times a week. I’ve always loved to work with others and help them understand a subject.

I will specialize in teaching students between 2nd and 10th grade. As a tutor, I intend to find a learning style that is right for you/your child and hope to help them enjoy their time spent learning English! I want to go over what they know and establish a starting point to go from. My lesson plans would be a mix of explaining, visualizing, and hands-on activities that help them genuinely remember what is being taught. As a current student, though older than K-12, I understand how it feels to get told information and not shown, so I will make sure the lessons aren’t overwhelming and will work with you/your child to find a middle ground.
