About Atharav

My professional ethos centered on self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven environments, recognizing the child as a strong, competent, and creative learner. I am of the belief that strong learning happens when students feel emotionally secure. When children feel safe and supported, they engage fully and build the skills they need for the future. In my practice, I strive to first build that foundation of trust and care, knowing that when a child feels truly valued, their natural curiosity and love for learning are unlocked. I believe Learning is not just a transaction of information. It's a social and emotional process that flourishes within the context of trusting, positive connections between kaiako, tamariki, and whānau. (collaborative effort)

With hands-on experience supporting people in fast-paced environments, a strong interest in education, and a commitment to clear, patient communication, I am confident I would be a positive and valuable addition to your team as a tutor.
