About Charlotte
I'm 19 years old and currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Liverpool. Although I took Physics at A-level, I didn't enjoy it at all, until I started seeing a tutor. I found that hearing a different teaching method and perspective helped me understand the content so much more, and I began to love it! That is really what inspired me to pass on this knowledge to others in a more modern approach, as sometimes it takes one method or phrase to make a subject click. As much as I enjoy teaching others, I also am happy to help give support for further education (especially if you're thinking about going into engineering or science related subjects). In my spare time,I love to play netball, as well as going to the gym and socialising with friends!

Ahead of your first session, I'd love to hear about your goals (whether it be a specific grade in that subject or to gain confidence and enjoy the subject), as well as if there are any areas in particular that you are less confident in. If you are unsure on where your strengths and weaknesses lie (which is fine!) I'd be happy to set you a small quiz covering a range of subjects across different abilities, and we can go from there! I'm happy for the sessions themselves to be between 45min-120min (totally up to you!). In these sessions, I would follow a planner made specifically for your needs, and we will go between talking through the theory, and then answering questions accordingly, and so on - as I know how important it is to understand every step of the content (and it makes it less boring for you!). At the end of each session, we will discuss how you found the content, and whether you are ready to move forward with the planner or would like a little bit longer nailing the topic. I'm happy to set some questions to continue to do over the week in your own time. I would be happy to teach GCSE and A-Level maths and physics at any level! Past experience - I have spent weekly lunchtimes with year 7s and 8s, tutoring them for maths - as well as helping students from my primary school complete entrance exams for private/grammar schools.
