About Sofia
I am a student currently studying undergraduate Spanish and Italian, and I would love to break down some of the challenging barriers in language learning, and to highlight the most enjoyable parts of language acquisition! My teaching approach is highly tailored towards my students, and our starting point will be understanding together the student's weaker points, and forming my lesson plans based off of this. Equally important is the style of learning; this too will be tailored towards the student, and with my range of resources, I can provide a range of teaching styles, all of which will be dynamic and enjoyable. For example, if a student works more efficiently with visual stimuli, this will be reflected in the teaching style. Having previously tutored GCSE Spanish students, with visibly positive results, I feel confident in my experience and ability to work with the student towards efficient learning. My lessons will be focused on the student and their preferences, and as a student at Oxford University myself, I appreciate the importance of student-led discussions in the most efficient results.
