About Brenda
Math and science have always been two of my biggest passions, and I’ve naturally found myself helping friends and classmates who needed extra support in these subjects. Whether it was explaining tricky math problems or breaking down science concepts in a way that made sense, I discovered how much I enjoy teaching and watching others gain confidence in their abilities. These experiences inspired me to pursue a degree in Elementary Education at Sul Ross State University, where I’m continuing to develop the skills to become a great teacher. Tutoring has shown me the power of patience, clear communication, and adapting to each student’s learning style—and I’m excited to bring that same approach to help other students succeed.

As a current Elementary Education student at Sul Ross State University, I’m passionate about helping young learners thrive, especially in math and science. I understand that every student learns differently, which is why I tailor each session to meet their unique needs and learning style. My goal is to make challenging subjects feel approachable and even fun, while building confidence and strong study habits along the way.
