About Nicole

I am a patient and supportive English tutor who enjoys helping students improve their reading skills and become more confident in English. I believe that learning should be comfortable and encouraging, so I create a friendly environment where students can ask questions and learn from their mistakes.
My lessons focus on reading comprehension, vocabulary, pronunciation, and understanding different types of texts. I adapt the difficulty of each lesson to the student's level and use interesting, age-appropriate reading materials to keep lessons engaging.
During a typical lesson, we will read a text together, learn new vocabulary, discuss the main ideas and details, and practise comprehension through questions and activities. I also give students helpful feedback so they can gradually improve.
My lessons are mainly for students aged 12–18, including middle-school and high-school students who want to strengthen their English reading and comprehension skills.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is friendly, patient, and student-focused. I help students improve their English reading skills by making lessons engaging and easy to understand. I encourage students to read at their own pace, ask questions, and build confidence step by step.

My teaching methods include:
Reading short stories, articles, and age-appropriate texts together.
Learning new vocabulary through context.
Practising pronunciation and reading fluency.
Asking comprehension questions to check understanding.
Discussing the main ideas, characters, and important details of a text.
Giving simple exercises and feedback to help students improve.
