About Zita
Parents frequently call me because their child has lost confidence rather than marks, and I address you directly because I know the route to musical mastery is often messy. Holding a BMus from the Curtis Institute of Music, I find that my own non-linear path allows me to connect with students facing similar hurdles. I diagnose the core issue before we begin teaching, as I search for that single incorrect assumption holding you back. I focus on refining your skills so you can perform with confidence and control.

Silence in the room often reveals more than 60 minutes of playing, so I start by listening to the subtle vibrations of your keyboard work. My pedagogical pace is deliberate and precise, ensuring that we resolve fundamental technical issues before moving toward complex repertoire.
I guide students through ear training, memorization techniques, and ABRSM or Trinity grade exam prep with a focus on expression. My diagnostic playing assessment sets a 9.0 out of 10 standard for our learning plan. We refine sight transposition, scales, arpeggios, and accompaniment skills until the mechanics feel natural.
