About Leona
"Playing music should feel like breathing, yet many people view technique as a chore rather than a path to freedom. I use my Master of Music in Music Performance from the Curtis Institute of Music to simplify improvisation and soloing for all my students.
I teach acoustic technique and electric technique alongside reading sheet music and reading tabs. Fingerpicking and lead guitar are central to my curriculum, as are blues progressions. Enjoy the process of becoming the musician you want to be."

Since I have 3 years of experience teaching 174 students, I know exactly how to diagnose where you are getting stuck. We focus on real music that you actually enjoy playing, which makes the hard work of mastering technique feel like a genuine reward.
I provide free chord charts and tab sheets shared after each class to help you practice effectively at home. It is quite rewarding to see how quickly students bridge the gap from knowing nothing to performing on stage."
