About Felicia

I am a cybersecurity and AI governance, risk and compliance professional with more than twenty years of experience working across global organisations in technology platforms, digital transformation and cyber risk management.

I hold a BSc in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Software and Systems Security from the University of Oxford. I am currently undertaking doctoral research at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, focusing on the secure adoption of artificial intelligence and how organisations assess and manage the cyber risks introduced by AI systems.

My professional work spans cybersecurity governance, enterprise technology risk management and the secure adoption of emerging technologies. I have worked with organisations to strengthen governance frameworks, improve cyber risk visibility and support leadership decision-making in complex technology environments.

In addition to my industry work, I contribute to board advisory activities and support talent development and talent acquisition within cybersecurity and technology teams. I am particularly interested in helping professionals understand the growing opportunities within cybersecurity, AI governance and technology risk roles.

My experience combines academic research, industry practice and professional mentoring, allowing me to provide learners with insight into how cybersecurity and AI governance operate within real organisations.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on practical guidance and structured career development. Sessions are interactive and tailored to each learner’s background, goals and level of experience.

I support individuals exploring career transitions into cybersecurity, AI governance, and technology governance roles, as well as professionals considering broader career changes into more skilled, specialised work. Many learners come from non-technical or non-technology backgrounds, and part of the process involves identifying transferable skills and positioning them effectively.

Before starting formal lessons, I offer a free 30-minute introductory session. This allows us to discuss your background, career goals and expectations. It also gives me the opportunity to assess whether my mentoring is the right fit for you and whether I can provide the type of support you need. If it is a good fit, we can then discuss next steps and structure future sessions around your objectives.

Sessions typically last 60 minutes and may include:
