About Thomas
I have completed a Master's in Cyber Security with a Network Security focus at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, the Post-Baccalaureate Computer Programming Certification from North Carolina State University, and hold a DoD Secret security clearance. I hold numerous certifications in this field from Microsoft (Azure and Security), TCM Security’s (PJPT) as well as CompTIA’s Security+, CySA+, and CASP+. For 10 years I worked in the academic, military, medical, and marketplace settings both domestically as well as internationally. As I worked alongside and helped develop a generation of strong, secure leaders, I noticed the growing influence of technology in all fields. Along with this growth of influence was the rapid growth of attempts to leverage it for malicious intent. While completing my studies, I worked full-time in IT Systems Support and currently serve in IT with the military as an Information Technology Specialist (25B).
