About the lesson

In my lessons, you will not only learn about dance in the style chosen, but also be able to explore how the body moves in many different ways and explore your creative minds to new heights in the specific dance style chosen. In my lessons, you will be able to create movements that suites your style of dance, be able to respond to how dance connects with the body and what body part it is emphasizing while doing a movement, and connect the body with the movement to new extremes. My lessons are fun and you will have a sense of enjoyment.

About Gregory

I started dancing during my freshmen year of highschool, starting with no dance experience or training. Over the years, I have gained technique and started to solidify dance styles that suites better with me, which happens to be Modern dance and choreography. I then went to NVCC where I obtained my associates degree in dance and came to realization that I love improvisations and contact improvisations and had a strong liking to Modern dance even more. I was in NVCC from 2012-2015, I then transferred from NVCC to CCSU where I obtained my bachelor's degree in dance education k-12 from 2015-2019. I was apart of dancentral dance company for four years at CCSU. I was the first of its kind to receive the new bachelor's degree in dance education as well as the first to get certified to teach dance in the state of CT. Currently this is my 14th year dancing and have been enjoying every moment of it. My philosophy of teaching dance is that no matter what skill level you have, everyone has the ability to move and dance. I started with no experience in dance to now have enough experience to teach dance. If I can do it then I hope it inspires you to do it as well.
