About Maxine
I currently serve as a dance teaching artist at Alonzo King LINES Ballet and RoCo Dance & Studios. I hold B.F.A. in Dance from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and an M.A. in Dance Philosophy from University of Roehampton, where I trained in ballet, contemporary dance, improvisation, and choreography.

Perfect! Maxine is an excellent teacher and choreographer. She's friendly, patient, knowledgeable, encouraging and a genuine joy to spend an hour with while learning to dance. Maxine is an amazing dancer, and a dedicated and passionate teacher. I am new to dance, and learning from her at first seemed a little like asking Usain Bolt to teach a toddler how to run. But she met me where I was at. And I’ve grown leaps and bounds. I think anyone would count themselves lucky to have her as a teacher. I certainly do.
