About Dougie
I have performed in theaters across the country, assistant directed on Broadway and led education programs internationally. I have taught at Syracuse, Manhattan, SUNY Cortland and Virginia Commonwealth universities. I have students who are performing across the country and internationally. My passion as a teacher is seeing student growth, whether the goal is to improve dance as a hobby or pursue it professionally I am here for my students!

Lessons are individually tailored to students. Based in technique, lessons begin with a warm-up to condition the body for dance, continue with technical exercises and then conclude with working on performing choreography. I tailor lesson plans to individual student needs, with the goals of progressing dance skills and performance technique. I teach ages 6 to adult and specialize in assisting students who compete, are auditioning for colleges, and want to work professionally.
