About Amia

Who am I? Hey lovely to meet you! My name is Amia, I am 28 years old from London. I’ve been performing since the age of 5. I began assisting my dance teacher at age 15, and by 18 I was working with her teaching my own classes up until she closed the school summer 24’. I am now the owner of my own dance & performing arts school 🦩I am ARAD qualified. 🦩I am a performing arts graduate from Stella Mann College of performing arts. My goal is to help others gain confidence, knowledge, understanding, and self-belief all through the power of movement, as my classes are judgement-free and involve positive advice and tips to aid you along your journey to success whatever that may mean for you.

About the lesson

🫧What I teach: I aim to inspire, helping my students grow, learn and achieve whilst also having fun. 🤍 Your Musical theatre class will generally consist of a mix between dance, acting and singing. This could mean learning a dance routine from a musical as well as performing the song whilst you dance, or just learning an MT routine alone or MT song alone, and trying out various acting exercises/games/techniques to explore character work. Depending on your experience and abilities, I will plan the class to suit you and your needs. Other styles I teach:
Ballet 🩰
Tap
Jazz (variety of styles including lyrical & musical theatre)
Contemporary
Commercial (variety of styles)
Fitness but made fun 🤍
My lessons are for all ages whether you’re 7 or 77! 🪶No experience? No problem! 🫶🏽I offer package deals which benefit both of us! Please message for details. I do not just teach technique alone, I teach you how to become a professional. This includes everything from having the right mindset and attitude, to how you should enter a room to ensure you are noticed. I teach you how to be an artist. Even if all you want to gain is some extra fitness, I will still help you to stay motivated and show you how to get the best out of your classes. 🦩I’ll always focus on your needs and we can work towards any goal you may have, even if it’s just for a bit of extra exercise, interest in learning something new or you’re looking to better your technique, my promise is to do my best to ensure your success.
